How to setup an outgoing TCP/IP interface
Outgoing TCP/IP interfaces is the most common interface type for sending messages to receiving systems. A TCP/IP socket is used to connect to the receiving system, which is normally retained indefinitely. HL7Connect will reconnect automatically should the receiving system disconnect and restart. Messages are sent as per the HL7 lower layer protocol. Messages are sent and acknowledged as per the HL7 acknowledging paradigm. |
