Scripts can be configured to execute when interface related events occur in HL7Connect, using interface specific settings.

More detailed information about HL7Connect events such as when they occur, and what may be done in a script attached to the event, is available in the HL7Connect Development Environment Help.

Script Settings

This section lists all the known events for the particular interface type and allows standard script configuration options to be set for each script. The scripts are configured using the same script configuration settings throughout HL7Connect.

See Script Configuration Options for a description of scripting parameters and their meanings.

Keep a copy

By default, when an outgoing script is executed and it produces a modified message, the modified message is sent to the destination system, but not stored anywhere. If this option is checked, the modified message will be stored in the database, and can be viewed in the Message/Document Browser.
